The Wish You Were Here project is on it’s fifth consecutive year! A group of woman photographers from around our beautiful globe each post one image a week, and we are now on our fifth year! What an amazing accomplishment! The image above is my image from Week Two, Year Five… It has been COLD here in New England this winter. Last weekend we went to the Smith Botanical Garden in search of some warmth and cheer. We found it in the warm greenhouse full of beautiful plants, shimmering water and warm air full of good oxygen. I went in with my Lensbaby Velvet 56. I chose the image above to represent our trip, but I wanted to show what else I saw in the greenhouses. The Smith College Botanical Garden is truly a treasure for this community, in the summer the gardens outside are also bursting with life. It was cold last week, but there was little snow on the ground, yesterday we had a snow storm followed by cold temps… so tight now, everything in the world outside is covered in a thick layer of white sugar icing, but back in the greenhouse everything is warm and happy and bursting with color!
