I shot these images with my Microcord Twin Lens Reflex. But my camera was totally not cooperating. First it wouldn’t focus, then it was skipping frames, and then it just stopped advancing totally. I sent the roll in for processing anyway, but wrote a whole long letter on the back of the form asking them to call me after processing before scanning. I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay for the images to be scanned. They really couldn’t say one way or the other if the images were worth scanning, so I said to just go ahead and scan them. I am actually glad I did. I really do love the weird quality of these images. I know they are FAR from perfect. But they are so weird, and so wonderful at the same time. Just so weird. But I love them.

So dreamy and pretty! Love them Phyllis. I agree mistakes are sometimes the best photos, and his totally proves it.
I scan what I think might be mistakes as well. You never know what kind of surprise you may have hidden. These definitely made me think of the Cottingley Faries. A treasure for little girls! 🙂
Couldn’t agree more! These are wonderful…it really feels like a fairy tale 🙂
