I am not one who likes the cold. I dread winter, dread the cold. But I do get pulled into a nice snowy scene every once in a while. Yesterday’s beautiful sticky snow, sticking on all of the tree trunks and lighting up a grey cold day called me out. And I wanted to really give the Velvet 56 a try, so we bundled up and headed out. I love how the lens picked up on the falling snow and made circles on Meadow’s coat and face. I love how dreamy the background looks. As someone who struggles with the digital look of digital photography, but then also struggles with the cost of film… I may have found my soul mate in the Velvet 56.
