“Nature does not ask permission. Blossom and birth whenever you feel like it.”

Liberty, a fierce earth mama, is about to birth her fifth baby! The cold did not stop her from braving this maternity shoot! She’s barefoot and fancy free, despite the snow. She showed off her amazing mama body with some nude shots inside, and then outside. The cold did not hold her back at all, she was amazing! Liberty was a super warrior Goddess as she posed nude and barefoot in the snow. Some of the images below contain nudity and show off the amazing strength of the female body. (but if that is not your thing, just kindly don’t scroll all the way down as they are at the bottom of this post)

I have known Liberty for years, our kids all went to Two Coyotes together, running barefoot though the land, in all seasons and weather, while learning about fire making, tracking, wild edibles and themselves in Granby CT. I was so glad to spend an afternoon with Liberty and her little one to be last week. I was a little nervous about her getting too cold, as it was a grey day, with no sun to warm our bodies, we worked quickly to capture her beautiful form out in nature. I wish her all the peace and strength and love needed to bring forth her newest little one! I can not wait to meet this new life!

“When we accept our own wild beauty, it is put into perspective, and we are no longer poignantly aware of it anymore, but neither would we forsake it or disclaim it either. Does a wolf know how beautiful she is when she sleeps? Does a feline know what beautiful shapes she makes when she sits? Is a bird awed by the sound it hears when it snaps open its wings? Learning from them, we just act in our own true way and do not draw back from or hide our natural beauty. Like the creatures, we just are, and it is right.”

“And then there are the cravings.. Oh, la! A woman may crave to be near water, or be belly down, her face in the earth, smelling the wild smell. She might have to drive into the wind. She may have to plant something, pull things out of the ground or put them into the ground. She may have to knead and bake, rapt in dough up to her elbows.
She may have to trek into the hills, leaping from rock to rock trying out her voice against the mountain. She may need hours of starry nights where the stars are like face powder spilt on a black marble floor. She may feel she will die if she doesn’t dance naked in a thunderstorm, sit in perfect silence, return home ink-stained, paint-stained, tear-stained, moon-stained.”

~~~~~~Nudity Begins below this text, I believe these images show the beauty, resilience and strength of the divine female body and spirit, but if this is not your thing, kindly scroll upward to the clothed images, we do not mean to offend, just to create and show beautiful images of the human form.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“To be pregnant is to be vitally alive, thoroughly woman, and distressingly inhabited. Soul and spirit are stretched – along with body – making pregnancy a time of transition, growth, and profound beginnings.”
– Anne Christian Buchanan
You carry Mother Earth within you. She is not outside of you. Mother Earth is not just your environment. In that insight of inter-being, it is possible to have real communication with the Earth, which is the highest form of prayer. Thich Nhat Hanh
The drive toward Life is protective, thoughtful, vulnerable, and invested in immaculate love. It is this last that marks the difference between a wise heart muddy with real life experiences in the trenches and a dry heart that functions on rote concepts alone. Clarissa Pinkola Estes
