Have you ever wondered where, or how, Artist Stefanie Marco Lantz of KiNDSPiN DESiGN makes her colorful multi media art pieces? Well if so, you are in for a treat, because here is a little peek into her Studio!
Stefanie's artwork is full of color, life, imagination and all kinds of found, borrowed, given and otherwise discarded bits of ephemera goodness. Her, light filled basement studio, has bags of soda cans ready to be cut up, boxes of bottle caps, even little rocking chairs waiting to be made into birds or peace signs or VW's or fish or just about anything you, or Stefanie, can imagine. Her studio is so colorful and jam packed full of things waiting to be made into art, that I had a hard time even turning any of my images from this session black and white!
What an artist is trying to do for people is bring them closer to something, because of course art is about sharing: you wouldn’t be an artist if you didn’t want to share an experience, a thought.

Stefanie uses power tools to cut shapes out of wood. She has a great "cutting room" off of her studio. It was loud and dusty, but I loved seeing the power that goes into her creations!
I had such a great time drinking tea and getting a little insiders glimpse into the creation of KiNDSPiN DESiGN! Thank you for letting me into your home and studio Stefaine!
