A Big Mazel Tov to the Kates Family! Jordan did a great job, it was a joy and a pleasure to be part of the celebration. Jordan's ceremony took place on a Sunday morning, it was a very special thing that I was able to capture every moment, from the biggest to the smallest... the whole Bar Mitzvah could be photographed! I loved being there to capture the joy of this beautiful tradition and milestone in the life of one amazing boy!
Jordan's Bar Mitzvah took place at the Chabad House in West Hartford and was attended by a full house of loving family members and friends.
After the ceremony the whole group of friends and family headed to the Pond House for a fun brunch with lots of legos, puzzles, a wandering magician and family photo books. Jordan's Mitzvah Project was to collect items for animals in need, which was so nice and very close to my own heart!
A few weeks before Jordan's Bar Mitzvah we met up for a family photo shoot. Below are a few of my favorite images from our pre-shoot. I love getting to know the family and the kids through an intimate family shoot before the jitters and excitement of the actual Mitzvah day arrive. That way, when the big day finally arrives, I am like an old friend there to capture all of the events and emotions with ease and happiness!
