It is International Peace Day... But Peace is so much more than a beautiful peace sign made out of flowers...(made and posted by us on IG this morning) And especially with all that is going on in the world (now, and always) We need a day to really reflect on what Peace means, what Peace feels like, what the world could be if we all embraced the concept of Peace in our hearts. Lets bring on the Peace! (all images created with vintage cameras on film)
Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.
Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.
An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.
Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.
~Saint Francis de Sales
Peace is a journey of a thousand miles and it must be taken one step at a time.
~Lyndon B. Johnson
Peace is not a relationship of nations. It is a condition of mind brought about by a serenity of soul. Peace is not merely the absence of war. It is also a state of mind. Lasting peace can come only to peaceful people.
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.
If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.
Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.
The real and lasting victories are those of peace, and not of war.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
A peace is of the nature of a conquest; for then both parties nobly are subdued, and neither party loser.
All we are saying is give peace a chance.
