It is said that a woman in sync with her power can change the world.
Edessa is on the verge of motherhood. On May 1 we met in the beautiful New Hampshire woods to walk barefoot... to play in the wet moss... to splash in the cold waters of a stream and to dance a grateful dance to the turning of the seasons.
We listened to the birds chirp and the water call as we gave thanks to mother earth and all of her blessings on a beautiful May Day!
I wish Edessa all the happiness in the world as she readies herself to welcome her first baby into the world sometime this May!
Not long after I left Edessa and Tom's beautiful land in New Hampshire.... The got married in the same spot we did our special maternity shoot... while listening to the birds chirp and the cold water run, they joined their lives together! What a beautiful way to celebrate May Day!
“Nothing is ever lost as time passes, it merely metamorphoses into something as wonderful or, in some cases, into something even better than before.”
― Carole Carlton
The drive toward Life is protective, thoughtful, vulnerable, and invested in immaculate love. It is this last that marks the difference between a wise heart muddy with real life experiences in the trenches and a dry heart that functions on rote concepts alone. Clarissa Pinkola Estes
