There are many quietly beautiful things to do this time of the year. One of which is Christmas By Candlelight at Old Sturbridge Village is one of them. The crackle of the bonfire, the sent of smoke filling the air. The beautiful sounds of song and the gentle stomping of the giant horses pulling the wooden wagons…. The crisp cold air and the gently falling snow just added to the perfection.
This year we met friends at Old Sturbridge Village for the beautiful Christmas By Candlelight. Just before we were leaving a new lens was delivered to my door! So I set out with my brand new Lensbaby Creative Bokeh Optic, cold weather and low light was not on my side… but I wanted to capture the magic and beauty of Old Sturbridge Village draped in tiny twinkly lights and lit candles with this creative tool.
This is how I saw the village last night, ablaze with stars!
